Our youth ranging in ages from 6-21 years are taught the fundamentals and core function of servitude. Our youth come from diverse backgrounds and ethnicity. The youth are responsible for engagement in the community to build life skills. This is a great opportunity for our youth to get involved in human services and building relationships in the community. We collaborate with the Unified School District's High School Volunteerism Student Graduation Required Credits Program. Which has successfully produced positive outcomes, with 90% of our students continuing to find Jobs giving back to the community.
As a result of the community involvement made available to our youth in the Youth and Volunteerism program, we have encouraged young people to develop a sense of their personal identity, along with social, emotional, and behavioral competence that will guide them toward productive futures.
A number of our youth have become employed with various organizations within the community utilizing the skills and training acquired in our youth developmental program.
