After School Academy & RASCALS
An alternative to kids going home to an empty house and idle activities; offers homework help, tutoring, recreation, sports, STEM, leadership development, arts activities, and more.

Music Education
After school music program conducted in partnership with the Los Alamitos Unified School District; string and band instruction provided to children in grades K-5; students in grades 1-5 may participate in the elementary string ensemble or jazz band.
Students develop foundational instrumental music skills and music literacy.
Participants improve discipline, focus, and practice habits through weekly instruction.
Children build confidence by performing in concerts and community events.
Students strengthen teamwork, listening skills, and collaboration through ensemble participation.
Youth gain an appreciation for music and creative expression while developing lifelong learning skills.
Camp S.H.A.R.K. (Science, Hands-on, Art, Recreation, Knowledge)
Outdoor camp that ensures families have access to multiple weeks of childcare; bans all screens and provides a wide range of educational and creative activities that engage children with each other and with nature.
Children engage in active, screen-free learning that promotes creativity and healthy social interaction.
Participants improve teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills through daily group activities.
Youth develop stronger connections with nature, science, art, and physical recreation.
Campers build friendships, independence, and self-confidence in a safe and supportive environment.
Working families gain access to affordable, high-quality childcare during the summer months.
Leadership Academy
A week-long summer camp for teens that provides specialized training on how to handle real-world challenges outside of high school; we partner with local businesses, educators and residents to cover goal setting, banking, resume building and interviewing, an introduction to cooking, basic car maintenance, and more.
Participants gain practical life skills including financial literacy, interviewing, resume writing, workplace professionalism, and basic independent living skills.
Students increase confidence in preparing for college, careers, and adulthood.
Youth establish meaningful relationships with community leaders and professional mentors.
Participants develop leadership, goal-setting, and problem-solving skills.
Graduates leave with a personalized action plan for achieving future educational and career goals.
Every 15 Minutes
Dramatic and effective bi-annual two-day program held on the Los Alamitos high school campus that addresses the teen drunk driving epidemic.
Students increase awareness of the dangers and consequences of impaired and distracted driving.
Participants demonstrate greater understanding of responsible decision-making.
Youth strengthen their commitment to making safe choices regarding alcohol, drugs, and driving.
Families and students engage in meaningful conversations about traffic safety and personal responsibility.
The program contributes to creating a safer school and community culture.
