Youth Centers of Orange

The Youth Centers of Orange gives children a safe and fun place to go after school. We support kids ages 5 to 15 with tutoring, music, sports, cooking, games, and mentoring. We also give them meals and help them with their schoolwork. Many of our students come from single-parent homes or are in foster care. They need extra support, and we are there for them. We now run eight programs on three school campuses and serve 250 kids every day. In addition to our school-year programs, we run full-day summer and winter camps. These camps give working families a safe and enriching place for their children when school is out. Our camps are packed with fun activities like field trips, outdoor games, science projects, and art. They also include meals and learning time to help prevent learning loss. Through these seasonal camps, we serve over 300 additional students each year across Orange.

The Hub Resouce Center

In the heart of Orange, California, a beacon of hope emerged in 2022 with the birth of The HUB Resource Center (HRC). It all began with a simple phone call - the city reaching out to The HUB OC, an organization already beloved for its compassionate work through the Full Circle Market Place and Youth Center of Orange. When asked to help the unhoused population, The HUB's response was a big "YES!" From humble beginnings on the roadside, with just a few mobile units and EZ-ups, dedicated volunteers served hot meals, offered warm showers, and provided laundry services - small acts of kindness that meant the world to those in need. In just two short years, fueled by unwavering compassion and community support, the HRC blossomed into a nurturing haven, touching the lives of over 200 individuals and families every day. Now, the HRC doesn't just meet basic needs; it uplifts spirits and restores dignity. From guiding people towards housing to offering medical, dental, and vision care, from fostering connections through social groups and art therapy to providing practical help with mail services, device charging, and clothing - the HRC wraps its arms around the community in countless ways. At its core, the HRC is more than a resource center; it's a family bound by the motto "compelled to create change." With every smile exchanged, every hand held, and every barrier overcome, the HRC proves that when love and dignity lead the way, everyone has the chance to thrive.

Full Circle Meaningful Marketplace

Full Circle is The Hub OC’s innovative thrift store and social enterprise, designed to meet both economic and community needs through a sustainable, mission-driven model. Located in the heart of Old Towne Orange, Full Circle offers affordable, high-quality goods to the public while serving as a vital resource hub for families experiencing financial hardship. Beyond retail, it functions as a workforce development platform, providing hands-on job training and entrepreneurial opportunities for individuals connected to The Hub’s programs, including those transitioning out of homelessness, foster youth, and student workers. Full Circle also acts as a donation distribution point for the Youth Centers of Orange and the Hub Resource Center, ensuring that clothing and essential items are placed directly into the hands of those who need them most. Through a combination of community events, volunteer engagement, and entrepreneurial support for local vendors, Full Circle exemplifies how a thrift store can drive social impact, economic empowerment, and community connection.

The Hub Community Centers

The HUB Community Center is a transformative center to serve low-income families living in an affordable housing community. This program addresses the pressing need for accessible, community-based educational support, job readiness training, and holistic family engagement in underserved neighborhoods. At its core, the HUB Community Center exists to break intergenerational cycles of poverty through academic enrichment, economic empowerment, and relational support. Programming includes weekly tutoring and homework help for K–12 students, enrichment classes in STEM, the arts, and sports, and parent-focused education such as English and Spanish literacy, financial literacy, and computer literacy. Job readiness workshops offer training in resume building, interview preparation, a community garden, and workplace skills to help parents and caregivers achieve stable, higher-paying employment. Additionally, the center fosters community through mentorship initiatives and social programming like dad’s night, childcare co-ops, and senior engagement activities, designed to build connection and shared responsibility among neighbors. By bringing these supports directly into low-income housing communities, the HUB Community Center reduces common barriers such as transportation and childcare, creating a trusted and accessible environment where families can thrive together.
