CEO/Executive Director Experience

EXPERIENCE Jesse Pazdernik has more than 20 years of experience with the YMCA movement. Originally from Stevens Point, Wisconsin, Jesse developed a lifelong passion for sports and youth development, which led him to begin his YMCA career as a youth sports instructor while attending the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. After graduating, Jesse relocated to San Diego, where he spent 15 years growing within one of the largest YMCA associations in the country. Throughout his tenure, he held a variety of leadership roles, gaining extensive experience in operations, program development, and community engagement. In 2019, Jesse joined the Los Altos Family YMCA as Executive Director. He is deeply committed to strengthening the community by expanding opportunities for youth, families, and individuals to learn, grow, and thrive. He is also passionate about philanthropy and advancement, with a strong focus on both annual and capital development efforts. Over the course of his career, Jesse has helped lead fundraising initiatives totaling more than $8.5 million in support of transformative programming and future capital projects.
