Jacoby Hickerson is a founding member of the Laguna Beach Chamber Singers, having been integral to the ensemble's journey since its early years. He was a key driver in the organization’s formal transition to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2014, ensuring the group’s artistic passion was matched by a strong organizational foundation. Serving as President, Jacoby blends his lifelong passion for choral music with over 20 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer. He brings a tech-forward perspective to the organization, focusing on operational efficiency, digital infrastructure, and long-term sustainability. Having helped guide LBCS through key organizational milestones, Jacoby is dedicated to ensuring the “business of the arts” is as precise and harmonious as the music itself. His mission is to preserve the group’s founding spirit of joy while scaling its impact for a new decade of performances.
