Our Founder & CEO Long before Our Father's Table existed, Gina knew she was called to this work. She was just 7 years old, sitting at the dinner table with her mom after watching the final episode of Roots, when she looked up and said, "I want to be the next Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr." Even then, she knew. Her calling, her passion, her mission — was and IS to be the voice for those who do not have a voice. For the forgotten. The discarded. The ignored. That calling never left her. It was shaped by her father's life — his accomplishments and challenges — and deepened through years of prayer and discernment. In 2014, she honored that calling by founding Our Father's Table — and she has been its heartbeat ever since. A South Florida native who made Southern California home in 2004, Gina is also a fine artist and accomplished published muralist with over 25 years in the decorative arts. But it is her work on the streets of South Orange County — showing up with active love, day after day — that defines her. Her leadership and vision have been recognized by the National Catholic Reporter, EWTN, and OC Catholic TV. She was invited to speak at the Sisters of St. Joseph's 2016 Speaker Series, where her presentation — "Mending Dignity Among Our Homeless" — moved and inspired all who attended. But recognition was never the point. For Gina, the point has always been simple: every homeless brother or sister who crosses OFT's path deserves to know they are worthy, they are loved by God, and they will never be given up on. That is her mission. That is her life. And that is Our Father's Table.
